PURPOSES:

  • The primary purpose of the Administrative Core is to coordinate and integrate the component functions and activities of the CHPR. Research development is coordinated by the Administrative Core through the activities and direction of the management and administrative staff, as well as through the administration of the small grants program, with its annual call for proposals.

 

ACTIVITIES:

  • Provides planning and budget oversight for The CHPR, its cores and pilot studies;
  • Facilitates the ongoing programs and functions of the CHPR's cores;
  • Publicizes activities of Center and Center affiliates;
  • Provides staff and physical facilities to support affiliate needs;
  • Supports and coordinates activities of principal investigators of Pilot Study projects;
  • Provides stewardship for the use of grant funds, and
  • Evaluates Center activities; produces annual and other progress report
