  2004 Gallman Lecture  
     
 

ANGS sponsors the Gallman Lecture every year.  This lecture is in honor of Laverne Gallman, a former professor of nursing at UT. 

In April, 2004 our guest speaker was Rear Admiral Mary Pat Couig, the Assistant Surgeon General and Chief Nurse Officer of the U.S. Public Health Service.  After meeting with the AE students for lunch, she gave a very interesting talk about the "Public Health Priorities in the 21st Century."  After her lecture she enjoyed some outdoor entertainment at the SON.  Here are some pictures.
